In writing to the Foreign Office we should

draw attention to the fact that the provisions of

Part II of the Hong Kong Immigration and Passports

Ordinance, 1934, to which reference is made in this

memorandum, were included in the Passport Control

portout Circular at 9 on 53639/35 and that this memorandum is

in substitution of the memorandum printed on pages 2

and 3 of that Circular, and we should also enquire

whether the Foreign Office propose to reprint this

memorandum as a Passport Control Circular or to

distribute the copies supplied by the Government.

the latter event ask to be informed so that

alternative arrangements may be made for the supply

of this memorandum to Passport Control authorities in

the Colonies.
